Advanced Career Workshop / Washington DC
For the first time, we are bringing a series of interpersonal skill development workshops to Washington DC area in collaboration with Iranian American Community Center.
This three (3) day life changing workshop focuses on the advanced communication, career management and multi cultural dynamics at work place. The workshop is instructed by Vahideh Hashemi certified by Rotman School of Management, one of the top Business Schools in North America.

Business Coach & Consultant
Vahideh is a professional leadership coach, trainer and consultant with a special interest in working with individuals, teams and organizations in creating environments where people thrive and new results are achieved. She believes that in today's environment, leaders not only have to be intellectually prepared and practically trained, but they also need to be personally equipped to create effective relationships for innovation and change.
In working with her clients, Vahideh leverages advanced coaching methodologies and tools, new leadership and performance theories and the science of cultural intelligence to support her clients in creating the results that changes their careers and businesses.
Vahideh Brings over 15 years of business experience to her work today as an engineering executive, coach, trainer and consultant. She delivered numerous training programs to corporate, nonprofit and Iranian government agencies on topics related to Diversity, Cross-Cultural Communication and Career Management. She held leadership positions in diverse industries including: Amvex Corporation, Prism Medical Limited, UTIL Canada, Danone Baby food.
Vahideh completed her Cross-Cultural Communication training and certification with Rotman School of Management, University of Toronto in 2013. She Skillfully combines her passion and experience in facilitating, coaching and training in her work with clients, assisting people in moving forward in creating new realities.

Program Goals
The highly educated immigrants face some career struggles when they come to US. They are not able to get a job they deserve and have to downgrade to some positions that they are overqualified.
The Advance Career is a program that enables and empowers professional immigrants to get jobs which match their qualification and fully utilize their skills and educations. Through a highly interactive class environment and collaborative exercises, the one-day Advanced Career workshop will help advance your effective communication skills, better understand the multi-cultural dynamics at the professional environments, and sharpen your career planning and management skills. After taking this workshop, you will be able to:

Advanced Communication
In a knowledge economy, communication skills are paramount, and they go far beyond understanding a language and its grammar. Effective communication is about using culturally appropriate language for handling specific business situations. For instance, how do you appropriately disagree with an idea proposed in a team meeting? How do you suggest an organizational change, make appropriate small talk, or deliver an engaging presentation?

A big part of managing your career is being clear about what you want – your goal. This program assist you to develop a personalized Career Management Plan. These plans help you understand your value, competence and clarify your goals, and then transform your ideas into action.
